MONTHLY NEW RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION, NOVEMBER 2018
PERMITS
The Census Bureau released its monthly new residential construction report for November 2018.
Nationally, new permits are up 5% from October 2018 and permits for buildings with 5 or more units were up from October at 382,000 units by 15.5 percent on a seasonally adjusted, annualized basis.
Compared to November, 2017, permits for building with 5 or more units were up by 5.5 percent.
Regionally, the South is out in front with 10.5 percent growth from last month and 7.3 percent from November 2017
